Science for Every Season

Elves determined to save the world through science are entertaining enough to captivate the youngest audience.  That's why educators Molly Robertson and Josh Kornberg were willing to get festively silly for the recent Lights...Energy...Elves holiday show at the Louisville Science Center in Kentucky.  Even 3-year-olds went away from this live presentation and hands-on kids' lab understanding something about matter and energy.

KidZone for ages 7 and under uses simple machines, water play, and a rocket ship to make science accessible to the youngest crowd.  All ages can discover through multimedia exhibits on everything from the human body to inventions.  With three floors full of things to do, it's no wonder parents and kids think it's one of the best family destinations around.  The Imax theater is a bonus, but I admit we didn't even get to that because we were so busy playing!
