Themeparks that offer nonstop action can be fun for a while. But I appreciate the total experience that includes relaxing ambiance and little tucked in places where I feel free to roam, even amid crowds of tourists. My husband and kids were content to zoom through everything at Future World this spring (we paid our own way), while Epcot's slower side felt far more appealing to me. After a morning interview with Flower & Garden Festival Horticulture Manager Eric Darden, I enjoyed meandering all around the expansive World Showcase area, searching out more garden spots. Darden pointed out a couple of gardens that I might not have noticed without his suggestion. The rest, I enjoyed finding on my own. I suppose it's part of the themepark detachment from reality to offer surprises like the real bunny that just happens to pose easily for photos!
