Does any drink say summer better than lemonade? I know, we're all trying to cut out sugars and syrups. But if I'm going to splurge this summer, I don't know of anything that tastes better than the lavender lemonade served up by The Parlor. 
This lemonade kisses you with a flavor that makes you pucker up for more. We tried it recently while listening to the live WDVX Blue Plate Special music performance in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee. It was also refreshing to order a deli sandwich and get whole wheat bread without having to ask for it. In addition to their downtown counter, The Parlor is serving up fresh, local-when-possible fixins' with more live music on 1008 East Woodland Avenue in Knoxville. It's no coincidence that Parlor owner Josh Sidman is an accomplished musician who first visited Tennessee a few years ago to play on the Blue Plate stage. He knows that good food and good music always go together, especially in the South!
