I love this display of vintage patterns the women had at the one-room Bunker Hill schoolhouse when I visited. I've never even heard of the Advance brand pattern, but I love the price at only 69-cents! I do remember using lots of Simplicity patterns in 4-H club.
I wish I could find more time to use some of the vintage patterns I have at home. I had to laugh at the "everything old is new again" concept when I found a ladybug pincushion/pillow at an upscale craft store for an upscale price. I thought it looked familiar, then came home and found the pattern in one of my old 4-H sewing books from the 1970s.
