Favorite Quilting Stories of 2011

Great Grandma Maude's Tree of Life quilt is something I've enjoyed sharing with readers this year.  The photos really don't do it justice.  Clearly from the number of visitors to that post, appreciation still exists for this kind of handiwork.

I was honored to visit with the 101-year-old woman who still designs and stitches her own quilts by hand.

It was also a pleasure to spend some time with the quilters of Bunker Hill.
