I'm no expert on entertaining. But if the guests feel welcome, there's something fun to do, and the food is scrumptious, I'd call it a successful party. We had a casual good time when a few other moms and kids dropped in for our YoBaby sampling party.
The folks at Stonyfield provided plenty of free YoBaby organic yogurt in vanilla as well as the YoBaby Meals to sample. Our youngest guest proudly sported his yogurt mustache!
YoToddler and YoKids offered even more varieties, including the new YoKids Greek that my daughter likes best in strawberry.
For moms, I used plain Stonyfield yogurt to whip up some New Moms Power House Smoothies
and Blueberry Yogurt Muffins
Farm life coloring pages, building blocks and more kept the little ones busy, while moms shared fridge photos. We're all trying to feed our families on a budget, without compromising quality. We're doing things like growing some of our own food, scouting for local food at farmer's markets, and searching for values at the grocery store, too. We learned tips about knowing our food, from Stonyfield's Farm to Fridge
My guests took home Stonyfield coupons and sweet prizes like an organic cotton bib from Stonyfield and a handmade child's apron from FlourSackMama.com
. You can find access to coupons and the chance to win prizes at iWillKnowMyFood.com
. Thanks to Moms Meet
for coordinating this event, and thanks to our friend Martina for taking photos.
