Cederholm says, "The reasons I'm drawn to organic farming compel me to OSGATA.  The organization's mission and work to date resonate with my own values and practices.  I'm passionate about vibrant rural landscapes and healthy well-fed communities, about preservation of biodiversity and the stewardship of the stories that celebrate our collective cultural identity.  This all relates to seed."

Cederholm started the small, certified organic Proud Peasant Farm in Maine, after several years of earlier involvement in organic agriculture.  Former manager Laura Parker of  Colorado is leaving her post to establish her own farm.

OSGATA seeks to protect organic seed and its growers and support local, organic agriculture.
