Do you find yourself accumulating more Christmas decorations every year? I can't say that I don't. But I love shopping secondhand for this sort of thing. It's the cheapest and easiest way to shop green.
The kids each chose a seasonal knickknack. We purchased a red and green serving platter, a bright green basket that could hold a floral arrangement, and an unopened package of paper plates (which I would usually avoid in retail). Plus we found a pretty porcelain bell made in Japan, with our total under $10.
Best of all, our purchase supported a nonprofit via the thrift store. What holiday treasures have you found at a thrift store?
