Expecting your first baby? Wondering about birth options? Looking for parenting solutions for juggling your growing family's needs? You won't want to miss Knoxville's Natural Parenting Expo. This second annual East Tennessee event is planned for Saturday, April 20 at the Knoxville Convention Center.
Admission is free at this popular event designed with the entire family in mind. The expo is held in conjunction with the Great Cloth Diaper Change, which celebrates and encourages the more frugal and eco-friendly alternative to disposable diapers. Parents and babies will be gathering as part of this nationwide effort to promote cloth diapering. If you've been curious about trying cloth diapers, you'll find all of the resources and answers you've been looking for in one place.
Knoxville's Natural Parenting Expo offers generous goody bags, giveaways, educational workshops and more. Toys and books are featured in the kids' room, while breastfeeding and diapering will be made comfortable and convenient for families. Families can connect with several businesses and organizations that have natural parenting at heart. In a fresh break from the typical expo, vendors will even be offering healthful food choices.
Flour Sack Mama is honored to host a table at the expo on behalf of the nonprofit coalition
Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families. We'll be sharing tips from SCHF and member group
Women's Voices for the Earth on protecting your family from toxic chemicals in your home. We're also donating one of the gift baskets to be given away the day of the expo. We're sharing a handcrafted baby bib and burp cloth set, plus coupons for FREE Stonyfield Organic yogurt (#Yo-Getters) for the giveaway. We're also looking forward to chatting with you during one of the speaking sessions that day.
