NewsTalk 98.7's The Housing Hour Talks Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families

What are you doing around the house at 8 o'clock on Saturday mornings?  A locally sponsored, locally produced radio talk show for East Tennessee is bringing fresh, substantive content to start off your weekends.

The Housing Hour with Kevin Rhea is seeking an authentic approach to match its slogan, "It's more than your home...it's your life."  In recent weeks, the radio program on NewsTalk 98.7 has featured experts and tips on everything from home energy efficiency to fire prevention and identity theft.

Co-Host Mark Griffith invited me to be a studio guest and to share with other families how we can protect our homes and lives from toxic chemicals.  Rhea and Griffith  seem genuinely interested in letting everyone in their listening area know about the advocacy efforts of Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families.

Be sure to catch this Saturday's The Housing Hour from 8:00 to 9:00 am to hear our discussion about simple living, ways to start protecting your family from toxic chemicals in everyday products, and what's happening with the Safe Chemicals Act.  That's on NewsTalk 98.7 in Tennessee.

If you're not in Tennessee, you can still listen to the latest edition of The Housing Hour after Saturday on The Housing Hour's website.

You can ask your US Senator to support the original, Lautenberg-sponsored version of the Safe Chemicals Act via this app below:
