More Squash Squatters Found

Adult Squash Bug
I'd like to just scare them away with a spray of my water bottle.  That's not enough.  I had to do away with one adult squash bug and two more nests of squash bug eggs that I found on our plants this morning.

I think I've also encountered one nest of tiny aphids, but the spraying alone seems to take care of them.  I was thrilled to see a little brown spider who'd made its home near the plants.  I hope it's finding plenty of tiny bugs to munch on.

Our garden seems like a wonderful example of what can go right and wrong in an organic garden.

Squash Bug Eggs on Leaf

Despite some difficulties, these plants just keep on growing.  The largest is climbing a tomato cage to the sky, kissed by the morning sunshine.
