See You at The Parenting Expo!

Did you know Farmer Jason is headlining at the Parenting Expo in Knoxville in a couple of weeks?  That's right: the PBS featured, award-winning musician who can rock the house while still keeping it clean for young audiences.  Musician Roger Day is also scheduled for that morning, February 25th. You won't find a better ticket anywhere for live music the whole family can enjoy.  

The Saturday event offers fun for kids along with tools to help mom and dad keep the house in order.  Fitness and safety experts will be on hand, along with financial fitness advocates like budget-conscious Frugalissa Finds.

B97.5 Midday Host Jennifer Alexander says, "The B97.5 Parenting Expo will provide parents of all ages and stages with the information and tools they need to access the resources available to them here in East Tennessee.  The entertainment will be a blast, the speakers will be informative and the seminars will be incredibly useful.  East Tennessee has needed an expo like this and it is sure to be a great success!"  

Flour Sack Mama was honored to be asked to share the Cooking Stage with some fabulous cooks like Sisters of the Skillet, News Sentinel food writer Mary Constantine, and local caterers.  While they make the fancy stuff, we'll be showing how Real Food is Fun for Kids.  You know, how those of us with small children are always short on time, but we still want to feed them something wholesome?  Our friends at Stonyfield have promised some yummy organic goodies to share with some of you that day.  Hope to see you there!
