Holistic Moms Network Conference this Fall

Are you the type of parent who always does your research? Have you been wondering about parenting choices that might go against conventional wisdom?  Do you try natural remedies at home before resorting to prescription medication for your children?  You might be interested in the next Natural Living Conference.

Hosted by Holistic Moms Network, the conference brings together top experts in holistic wellness and parenting.  This year's keynote speakers include Genetic Roulette documentary producer Jeffrey Smith to speak about genetically modified organisms in the food system, parenting expert Dr. Shefali Tsabary, plus a co-founder of the National Vaccine Information Center. The conference features a full speaking panel on controversial parenting choices such as vaccination choice, flouride and circumcision.

HMN Founder and Executive Director Nancy Massotto says her organization and the annual conference offer something for concerned parents of all stripes, and even people who might not be parents at all:

"Holistic is about connection - it's about how we understand the world, our health, and wellness.  It means that things are interconnected, and that we emphasize connection through community and through our awareness of how our lifestyle choices impact our wellness and the health of the planet.  Within that philosophy, there are many different paths one can make and hundreds of choices.  At HMN we firmly believe that we are all on our own journeys.  We may take different paths to living holistically, but we are all striving for the same goal.  And having support and community are essential to successful parenting (and living!), no matter what path you choose."

While the conference features world-renowned speakers, it also includes an exhibit hall that gives you access to top natural living professionals.  The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 12 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the Sheraton Mahwah Hotel in New Jersey. The day wraps up with an Awards Gala and Fundraiser at 6:30 pm. Event registration is open at this link.
